The family farm

Okay, "farm" might be an exaggeration, but we do have some sprouts in our new raised beds that look promising! radishes, lettuce, chard, beets, carrots, sugar snap peas...

Unfortunately, there is a neighborhood cat who likes to roll in the soft dirt and is putting my babies in imminent danger. Plan A was to sprinkle various cat-repelling spices in the beds. Failed. Now what to do for plan B?

Here's to hoping that our sprouts keep growing strong and give us a crop of homegrown veggies!
