Done-zo!

Words are not even needed. It's done!
Finally!
A little Christian bathroom humor from C.S. Lewis: "There are far better things ahead than any we leave behind." har har har
And the green window!

 A walk down memory lane
teensy tiny sponge painted bathroom.
Moving walls to make it a little less teensy tiny.
Heroes.
How in the world did I think I could salvage that?
The blank, very blank, slate.
That face is so excited about the potential of being able to shower again!

  1. Where did you get your shower handle with the porcelain on it? I LOVE it; it's so classic.

    1. Thanks, I love it too! It took me awhile to track something down that matched what was in my brain, but I think I ultimately found it online from Home Depot. It's made by Delta.

  2. WOW! We do not know each other, but I saw this on Apartment Therapy. I just wanted to send a well deserved "FANTASTIC JOB" your way! What an incredible transformation. The vanity could be my very favorite thing I have seen in a long time. You did such a stellar job! Keep working hard because it is clearly paying off. You should just be so proud. Sending you even more good house revival vibes.

  3. I too saw it on AT. I started just like you years and years ago. Hubs and I can now anything and everything ourselves! I've tiled over 6 bathrooms now! Pat yourself on the back, you did a wonderful job!! You will be hooked for life and want to save money and do everything yourselves. It's a great feeling. (and www.JohnBridge.com is a tile forum where I learned everything about tile and how to do it!!)
